WITH SWEDEN Better Balance Sought (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 27. A statement has been issued by Mr A. Hamilton. acting-Minister of Customs, as follows:—“It is a well-recog-nised fact, of the utmost importance to New Zealand, that additional markets should be obtained for its products. and, with this object in view, -Jr J. G. Coates, during his visit to London, has taken the opportunity to discuss with the Swedish Ambassador the possibililv of Now Zealand improving its trade with Sweden. The following figures are given ns the value of Swedish goods imported into New Zealand: In 1930, £325,325; in 1931, in 1932, £259.106; in 1933, 1*249.427: and in 1934. £243.314.
