The Cabinet Ministers are not inclined to comment on the statement’ made in regard to the fusion of the Reform and United Parties. Hon. Mr Ransom, Acting-Premier, said that the fusion met with his approval. Str Alex. Young offered no comment. Mr Hazelton said .'hat. no doubt some would like to see the issue of a permanent fusion raised. Hon. R. Masters said that there wn. nothing to add to the statement that had been issued. Hon. C. E. Macmillan said that the position was very much the stinio as that existing after the joint statement of the two leaders.
