Opera House NORMA SHEARER IN “RIPTIDE.” Norma Shearer comes after an absence as a glamorous heroine of “ Riptide,” her new Metro-Gold wyn-Mayer starring vehicle, which opens to-day at the Opera House. In a daring role reminiscent of her triumphs in “Divorce, ” “ Strangers May Kiss, ’ ’ and “A Free Soul,” Miss’Shearer plays Lady Lexford, a girl who married a title and found she had sacrificed freedom and good times.
