IZR AUCKLAND GRANTED NEW LICENSE. AUCKLAND, June 14. Station 1 Z.R. Auckland will be on the air again, a fresh license for the transmission of broadcasting programmes having been issued by the Post master General. The Minister stated that since the station license was cancelled, negotia {ions had taken ] lace between him and the proprietors. Lewis Eadv Ltd., and in reply to an enquiry from the proprietors as to thp conditions under which Broadcasting could be resumed thp Minister had intimated that a fresh license would be issued on receipt of an assurance that the conditions relative to the sponsored programmes would be strictly complied with in future. “Such assurance. ” said Mr Hamilton ‘‘was received by nie this morning. I havy now given permission to enable stations to resume broadcasting. ’'
