The annual inter-club match between Greymouth and Hokitika B teams for the Caliari and Field Cup was played at the Omoto Links during the week-end, resulting in a win for Greymouth by 25 points to 11In the Captain’s v. Vice-Captain’s (men’s) match, nineteen games were played, in which nine were won by the Vice-Captain’s team, and seven by the Captain’s team, the remaining three being all square. At rhe Glenview golf tournament Goodman won the National Open Golf Championship with a score of 287Hagen and Armom tied for third with 292 each, and Kirkwood tied for seventh with 296.
