(Own Correspondent.) Mrs *L Comiel, senr., who has been resident at. Rnnanga for the past nine years, left by the’ Remuera from Auckland on Saturday, en route to Lew Junction, Lanariekshiro, Scotland, where she will in future reside. Mrs Counel was farewelled by a large circle of friends, at the same time being presented with a large number of usefid presents, several of which will be very useful on the voyage Home. That she was highly respected was evidenced by the lady residents that congregated at the station platform to wish her bon voyage.

The usual fortnightly dances to aid the Band to erect a bandroom arc meeting with fair success, it being hoped to make a start with the erection of the hall in the near future.
