FINAL “CUTS” REPORT. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, April 29. Replying to a question this evening Mr Forbes said an extension of a month had been granted the National Expenditure Commission for the preparation of its second and final report. Its interim report was presented on April 8. Mr Forbes said it was not intended to legislate during the present session on the Commission’s further recommendations as it was hoped to end the session by the end of next week.
