PHAR LAP
BROADCAST FROM AGUA CALIENTE. (An* N.Z f’ablp Assn. - ) NEW YORK, February 17. An Agua Caliente message states that the jockey Elliott has arrived there to begin the final preparation of Phar Lap for the Agua Caliente Handicap. The Australian horse continues his daily workouts through heavy rains and a niuddv track. Air Francis Nelson, the presiding Steward, has expressed the opinion that Phar Lap is the finest-looking horse that has ever come to America. The Agua Caliente Jockey Club plans to have a short wave broadcast of the details of the race, with the hope of reaching Australian listeners.
