HAMILTON, April 17 That a green flag or light as a warning to motorists not to cross a •railway, is unsatisfactory, hs tho opinion expressed by the Magistrate, Mr Wilson, to-day. On a recent evening a woman driver nampd Grace Clark, seeing a green tight at a love] crossing, thought the road l was clear, drove ahead and crashed into a train. The Magistrate remarked that green was regarded as a safety colour; and in any casijf such signals were unsatisfactory as many people were colour blind. Electric flicker signals were a better warning. Defendant was fined 10/-.
