WAREHOUSE THIEF.

£715 of Goods Stolen. CARPENTER COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. WELLINGTON, January 11. Frederick John Deen Board, 46, carpenter, pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial on two charges of breaking, entering and theft of goods, to the value of seven hundred and fifteen pounds, from the warehouse of the Excelsior Supplies Company. Accused lb 7 ed at the rear of the warehouse, and was occasionally employed as a casual labourer. Goods Rad been missed for two years. Two auctioneers gave evidence of auctioning toys and other goods for accused. A detective said that when employed some time ago to fit a new lock on the door, he kept one of the keys, using it to enter the premises.
