Swimming. FRESH WATER RECORD. WELLINGTON, January 11. , Last night, at the Hutt swimmuig Carnival, W. Cameron again swam 100 yards, in the record fresh-water time of 59 2-ssec. He was timed by four watches Sculling. GOODSELL V. BARRY. VANCOUVER, January 11. Backers have already filed a chalenge on behalf of Goodsell to row Barry. The latter wishes' to row on the Thames in June, though several offers have been received from other places.
