POLITICAL TYRANNY.
In Roumania. REACTIONARIES COERCE ELECTORS. (Sun Cable.) .. LONDON, July 8. The Daily Mail’s Vienna correspondent says: Reports from Bucharest describe the use of extraordinary methods to ensure M. Bratano’s Party of a victory at the general election in Roumania. All oppositon meetings are forbidden through the country. Their election literature has been confiscated. Tho Socialist candidates in Transylvania have been imprisoned and large numbers of the Opposition voters have been called up for military training, thus making their voting impossible. Others have been refused voting papers on various pretexts.
