ACCIDENT TO ULIMAROA. SYDNEY, April 25. On Friday, the Ulimaroa was due to sail in the morning for Wellington. She was delayed through a thick hawser from another steamer becoming entangled in her propellers, which -eventually was freed, and the ship got away at 4.15 p.m. UNION SECRETARY CHARGED. SYDNEY, April 25. Jacob Johanson appeared at the Police Court on a charge of counselling certain people to strike. Johansen, who is Acting-Secrotary of the Seamen’s Union, pleaded not guilty. The action arose out of the holding up of the steamer Lovuka. The hearing was adjourned to May Ist.
