LOSS ON TRAMS
AT CHRISTCHURCH. CHRISTCHURCH. April 20. During the linancial year ended March .'list, the Christchurch Tramway Board made a loss of £10,205. The earnings from the operations were £266,071. The operating expenses totalled £185,028, while the interest and sinking fund amounted to £55,854. Depreciation and renewals amounted to £50.063, and the lire reserve to £1331.
