NO SECONDARY SCHOOL MEDICAL CERTIFICATES. OAMARU, April 20. Dr I’iekerill. of Dunedin, who brought one of his sons to the Waitaki Boys’ High School to-day, was surprised to find, on arrival, that the Health Department had made no provision for the students presenting medical cert ilk-ales before being admitted to the school. Dr I’iekerill felt -so strongly upon the subject that he despatched a telegram to the Director-General of Health, protesting against students being permitted to enter secondary schools without such eertifieates.
