FRESERA’ATION of C'JH RCH yard. LONDON, April 20. A world-wide appeal for funds to restore the Stoke Poges Church and to purchase, the- adjoining ten acres, has been fully successful. The land will shortly be haindcd over as a national trust, and Gray’s church will thus be saved as a. beauty spot. Australians and New Zealanders suscribed generously.
