GOING BACK TO IRELAND. DEPORTED FROM U.S.A. (Received April 19, 10.55 p.m.) YVAsniNGTON, April IS. The Secretary for Labour, Mr Davis, has ordered the deportation of Jim Larkin to Ireland on ’he ground that * s :| n anarchist. Jim Larkin was recently pardoned by the Governor of New York State, after serving part of a fiv<? years’ sentence for violations o* : the espionage law. Jim Larkin was associated with James Connolly in the organisation of I the Irish Citizens’ Force during tL > Easter Rebellion in Dublin in 1916.
