RED INDIANS.
RISING A SUCCESS. (Received April 19, 9.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 18. The U.S.A. Government has capitulated to the rebellious Piute Indians of Utah, who went on the warpath from March 23 to March 26. The Government has ordered that the Indians who rose shall bp given n special allotment of land outside the regular reservations. It was their demand, for this, and the Government’s refusal which led to the uprising.
