The Senate Tariff Committee increased as follow the various meat and cattle duties fixed by the Hons-e: Cattle weighing 1050 lbs from cents to 2 cents a lb; cattle above 1050 lbs. from 2 to 3| cents. Sheep and goats are fixed at two dollars per head instead of one cent per pound as the House provided: fresh mutton is increased from 1} to 21.
