STORMS ALTER PROGRAMME. TRINCOMAI.EE, May 28. The batte cruiser’Renown lias arrived here. When emerging from the Straits of Malacca into the Bay of Bengal, the warship ran into a monsoon, so fresh that it was decided to abandon the programme of calling at Colombo. The sea was reported by a wireless message as too heavy to render it safe for the great ship to attempt to make the harbour. The remainder of the trip home will be made with the least possible delay. The Renown is duo to arrive at Plymouth on June 20.
