FIRE IN DUMP.
SHELLS EXPLODE. PARIS, May 28. A fire occurred at a munitions dump at. Hauterive. consisting of three hundred thousand gas shells. There were many explosions. Neighbouring, villagers are evacuating their homes, and taking their livestock. Owing to the clouds of poisonous gas, troops are wearing respirators, and are endeavouring to prevent the fire spreading to the neighbouring dumps.
