WEATHER FORECAST

SUMMARY. The weather has improved generally to-day, but showers have fallen in the southermost districts. Southerly to westerly winds have prevailed, moderate to strong generally and squally at times. The barometer rose during the night, but has fallen slightly to-day. FORECAST. Present indications are. for fair to cloudy weather in the East Coast districts, but increasing haze and cloudiness- is probable generally with rain following in the West Coast and southermost districts. ' Eipect moderate to strong and freshening northerly and westerly wind: The barometer will fall by Tuesday. * A westerly disturbance is likely to :ule in the early part of next week.
