Tho case againt Win. Walker, a boy of 14, arrested yesterday on a charge of placing atones on the railway line near Morningslde, was heard to-day at the Police Courl . The prisoner was convicted of the offence, but in consideration of his youth, and this being the first case of the kind, a fine of 30s and costs was imposed.
