PRESENTATION TO M'GUIRE.

A silver fee* aud coffee set and dessert service were presented to F. M'Guire last night by his supporters In the late contest foe the Egmont seat, as a mark of their appreciation of the gallant struggle he had made against Major Atkinson. In the course of the evening a motion was passed to be telegraphed to Sir R. Stout, expressing their sympathy with his defeat, and regret at his temporary retirement from public life, as well as the hope that he would soon reßume the leadership of the Liberal party.
