Friday, December 4th, 1885. (Before Major Keddell, Warden.) - Garth v Reid. — Suit under the 31st section of ihe Mines Act. Case withdrawn by consent. The following applications were dealt with : — Wm. Ford and party, for drainage area at Half Ounce. Adjourned from last court for further inquiry. The application was granted, upon the written statements filed in court. Mathias Willing, dam site and waterrace at Waipuna. Granted. Ferdinand Api+z, application to bring certain rights under the provisions of the Mines Act. Approved. The same party applied for water race and dam at Orwell Creek. Granted. S. G. Vaughan, protection to water race and claim afc Blackball. Granted. Oonrad Haud and party for water race and tailing site at Potts's Creek, Nelson Creek. Granted. Ah Mooey, Chinese party, for tail-race, tailing site, and double claim near Hatters, Nelson Creek. Granted. The same party applied for a branch-race intersecting a County track. As the consent of the County Council had not been obtained, the application was adjourned. F. Lingren and others, for protection to claim at Brian Boru. Granted. Henry Pugh and others, for water-race and dam at Nobles Creek. Granted.
