PROTEST DISALLOWED.
Christchurch, November 12. The protest against Mata in the Maiden Riders race was disallowed. A WOOL GROWER'S ASSOCIATION. To-night a largely attended meeting of wool growers was held at the Corn Exchance, where it was decided to form a New Zealand Wool Growers Association and provisional rules were adopted.
