ALT, TNDTA TEAM’S TOUR. N.Z. ARRANGEMENTS i Association) CHRISTCHURCH, April 17. At a meeting of the management committee of the Now Zealand Hockey Association, Afes-srs S. G. Holland (Canterbury), IV. Newsham (Auckland), and R. Thompson (Wanganui), were appointed New Zealand selectors in connection with the visit of the all-India hockey team Mr TT. Down was appointed to represent the New Zealand Hockey Association for the first J'va weeks off the tour, and Mr R»- Thompson for the remainder, the North Island portion of tlie tour. It was decided to call for the names of players available for the three test matches, and to pay travelling and accommodation expenses in each case. Tho names are to he forwarded to the secretary -of tho New Zealand association by May 29. Tho Indian team reached Colombo yesterday, and leaves to-day, according to an official message. The team has asked for permission to play a match at Perth on route here.
