GISBORNE CLUB (By Black Knight) Since last report ~of members’ match games at tho Gisborne Chess Club, Sod don bag beaten Ritchie and Duncan twice each in the handicap tournament; Meredith haß scored two games each against Lawn and Robinson; Weatherly defeated Meredith twice; Yenning and Gleave also met, but their play .was so .equal hat both games were drawn. Each therefore scored one point. In tho championship tournament, Seddon won against Weatherly; Venning defeated Thompson; [whilst Ritchie scored against Scblichting.
