DEARER TEA
RISE EXPECTED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. DECREASE IN PRODUCTION. (Press Association). CHRISTCHURCH, Oot. 16. Among the commodities expected to rise in price shortly, owing to the worldwide decreased production and low London stocks, is tea. All advices from London and the East are to the effect that from now on much higher prices must be looked for. Wholesalers here expect a rise in the retail price of anything up to 6d per lb.
