Teddy Steward, a patient in Pontypridd Hospital, cherished a dream that on his ninth birthday he would meet the Duke of Gloucester, who was visiting the hospital, but Teddy recovered and was discharged, full of lament. The nurses sprang a surprise, and told him to return to-day, and tucked him in a cot. where the Duke enraptured him with a few minutes’ chat.
