It was d.aided that the Bert Lowe cup for the most improved boxer over the last three tournaments last season should be awarded to JClayton. At a subsequent meeting of the committee, a proposal to stage a bout between Joe Franklin and Alec Robertson was discussed, and it was decided that a decision should be postponed until the committee had further discussed the matter.
