Ritcbio, the president of the Gisborne Chess Club, points out that in the match against Wairoa. lie was recorded with a win against Stichbury, whereas he lost the first game, but won.the second. Rotorua Chess Club challenges the Gisborne Club in a telegraphic chess match for possession of tho Blackburn Cup. The match will be played on Saturday, the lOtli and 17th of next imonth, subject jto the datte being suitable for the Rotorua members and tho line being available.
