The Board of the New' South Wales Fruitgrowers’ Federation discussed the New Zealand embargo on Australian fruit, listened to an address by the Government biologist on plant diseases, and. passed a resolution requesting the Federal Government to confer with the New Zealand Government .with a view ,to seeking a satisfactory adjustment of the . trade difficulties and a discontinuance, of the embargo; also that the Domin-ion-Government be asked to lift the fruit . embargo pending such a conference.
