WELLINGTON, Jan. 12. A A. Parkhouse (Wellington Club) won the singles championship this afternoon when he defeated T. T. McAlister (Onehunga)y 17—15 in a game in which the loser was on the trail, from the start to,-the finish. , At the conclusion of thfe . section play in the pairs championship,; it was found that The semi-finalists in the singles were. released . and. the executive decided- to • Lake the semifinals and final played in the afternoon.
