Early this morning a fire occurred in. Nurse Cupple’s maternity ,hospital Duke street. She was engaged with a patient in the operating tlibntro when n strong smell of burning caused mi investigation to be made. The fire was located in the nurses' sitting yoom. Ten babies were at once shifted from the nursery to other quarters ns was ihe patient in [die operating theatre. The brigade made a good save. The other patients were not shifted.
