DISASTROUS BLAZE.
BUSINESS PREMISES, BANKS AiND BOATS DESTROYED. United Prea* Asm. by El. Tel. Copyrlehi (Australian Press Assn i SYDNEY, Nov. 22. A lire at Church Point. Pittwater, on the coast north of Sydney, destroyed a general store. Post Office, refreshment rooms, bank, garage and several cars, a launch and 40 boats. The damage is estimated at thousands of pounds. A curious featnrp of the blaze was that it was first, noticed by a resident on the opposite side of the bay, whose telephone inquiries led to the discovery locally. No water was available.
