The Navy has subscribed £26b4 for a wedding gift for Princess Mary who decided to buy a personal present and hand over the balance to the seamen’s and marines’ orphan homes.

LONDON, Feb. 7. Princess Mary’s trousseau sends the fashion experts into .ecstasies when (describing the wonderful frocks. The going-away gown is of a powder blue channelise, embrcnuered with blue silk heads and crystals in straight panel lines from yoke -ho foot. The sash consists of blue charmeuse tied loosely at the side. It is understood that this dress is of intense interest to all women, especially Shrove Tuesday brides.
The Princess’s . other gowns include a cornflour blue crepe cle chine afternoon dress, a wild rose pink georgette evening, -gown, a white crepe dc chine evening gown, and a black georgette dinner dress. Everything is simple without exaggeration anywhere. The pieces de resistance are the tea gowns, which will not hear comparison with the tea gowns of last year, but are intensely graceful. The pick of the collection is a sleeveless sweet pea gown, which the Queen chose. It is of chiffon, in soft mauve-pink over blue, and has a novel hip-band of pleated, chiffon, on which are three huge velvet begonia blossoms —mauve, pink, and blue. The trousseau also includes several knitted jumpers.
