Reuter's Telegrams. (Received Nov. G, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 5

Reuter’s correspondent at Headquarters in Palestine reports :—• To-day counter-attacks on our new positions on the west flank were repulsed with heavy losses. We are now .bombarding strong points in this part of the enemy second line.

Our captures since the beginning of the offensive total 207 officers and 2400 men. "

Our aviators are very active. Naval planes bombed railway communications and stores and a bridge at AViljulie, fifteen miles north of Jaffa, with good results. Airmen also bombed the. station and stores at Tel' Sheria, .on the Beersheba railway.

Another well has been captured north-east of Beersheba.

All our men are splendidly fit and keen in spite, of the great heat and dust.

We are in contact with the enemy northward of' Beersheba. The prisoners taken in these operations now total 207 officers, and 2429 men. Tanks participated in the attack on November 1.
