The papers publish an interview •by Paris journalists with Sir Douglas Haig, wli> said: —We have reached our maximum in munitions and can supply more than our Allies need. We will break the German front severely at several points. The Germans are powerfully entrenched, but we intend to strike with our full force until the total destruction of the German army this year will show that Germany is beaten.' Military peace can only come by our absolute «dntory.
