EMPLOYING ALIENS ON THE LAND. (Australian and N.ZT Cable Assn.) (Received Feb. 14, 0.40 p.m.) • 'LONDON. Feb. 14. Speaking in the House of Commons Mr. Hope stated that the Government was endeavoring to employ all able-bodied interned aliens on the land during the forthcoming season, but compulsion was not applicable to civilians.
