N.Z. Sports Coach For American College
NEW YORK, July 24,
Mr. Lloyd D. McDonald, of Auckland has been' appointed head coach for soccer and tennis at Trinity College at Hartford, Connecticut. Mr. McDonald starred in soccer, tennis and cricket at the New Zealand University. He was with the New Zealand Department of Industries and Commerce before enlisting in the New Zealand forces in 1940. He entered Springfield College, Springfield, Massachusetts. in 1946 and graduated as a soccer major in June, 1949. Trinity College, founded by the EspisCopal Church 125 years ago, is one of the oldest in the United States. It has an endowment of over 5,000,000 dollars.
