SEVEN-HOUR ORDEAL FOR WIDOW OF 75

An elderly woman who was injured when she fell al her home on Friday night spent seven hours alone before she could attract attention She_ is Mrs. Mary Helen Rowland, aged 75. of l(i Sentinel Road. Herne Bay. She was admitted to t’nc Middlemore Hospital with a fractured Ivp. a fractured arm and a dislocated shoulder. Mrs. Rowland, who is a widow, was alone in the house when the accident occurred She was helpless for about seven hours until she managed to attract the attention of a neighbour.
