MANY SHIPLOADS OF ARMS BOUND FOR EUROPE
(10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 23. Between 20 and 25 ships are now on the high seas or being loaded with American arms for Atlantic_ Pact nations and the Philippines, it was learned today. Officials said the latest shipment was 5000 tons for Belgium, carried m six ships Other European nations receiving arms under the mutual defence assistance programme are Britain, France, Italy, Holland, Luxembourg, Denmark and Norway.
