AUCKLAND HOSPITALITY TO SAILORS ON LEAVE
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 18. Hundreds of Australian sailors from the visiting warships left Auckland today for visits to Rotorua and farms in the district. Invitations to sailors to visit private homes poured into the Dcvonport information bureau. Shore leave for most of the mci) ends tomorrow night. Yesterday the Australian Navy beat the New Zealand Navy by 17 runs in a cricket match. The Australians also won golf and tennis events.
