Prelate’s 80th Birthday To Be Celebrated On Monday Next
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 7. The Roman Catholic Metropolitan of New Zealand, the Most Rev. Thomas O’Shea, celebrates his eightieth birthday on March 13. He is at present in Lewisham Hospital, but is expected to be recovered sufficiently to be discharged within a fortnight. He was born in San Francisco in 1870 and came to New Zealand as an infant.
