SHED AND BICYCLES DESTROYED IN GISBORNE BLAZE
A bicycle shed was gutted and two bicycles were a complete write-off when the door of an incinerator in which rubbish was being burned at the rear of Security Buildings in Peel Street fell oDen and set fire to nearby wooden caching cases and refuse yesterday morning.
The Gisborne Fire Brigade received a call at 11.25 a.m. and soon had tile outbreak quelled. There were more bicycles in the shed, but they were removed without damage.
