SCORING HIGH IN ARCHERY CONTESTS
Scoring was again high in the second round of the Gisborne Archery Club’s No. 6 trophy competition. The consistent shooter, B. Foote, led the A Grade section, closely followed by P. Waterson. K. Cassin and J. Mitchell were first and second respectively in the B Grade. Miss Briffault shot remarkablv well and exceeded her fine score of the previous week by a margin of 28 coints. Mrs. Gedye returned a score of 434. In the men’s section E. Soderston returned 506, which placed him 12 points behind W. J. Burton. The results were:— Monday
