TREASON CHARGE AGAINST ARMY SERGEANT
NEW YORK, Sept. 2. Federal Bureau of Investigation agents arrested on treason charges a former United States Army sergeant who is accused of broadcasting for the Japanese during tire Second World War. He is John David Provoo, a native of San Francisco. F. 8.1. agents described him as a “male Tokyo Rose.” He was arrested immediately after his discharge from the army on completion of his regular term of enlistment.
