Crutchings Brices Firmer At Dunedin
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. Aug. 16. Prices were satisfactory and showed a firming tendency on recent sales at the crutchings auction in Dunedin yesterday. The total offering comprised 4123 bales, mostly crutchings of new wool and 4095 bales of stock wool. The official range of prices is:' Halfbred. good to super. 19d to 223 d; average. 16d to 183 d; inferior and seedy, lid to 15d.
Fine crossbred crutchings Good to ;uper 163 d to 183 d; average 15Id to .Gkl: inferior and seedy, lid to 133 d. Crossbred crutchings: Good to super. 9d to 213 d: average. 16d to 18|d; inerior and seedy, lOd to 14}d. Coarse crossbred crutchings.—to 243 d.
