N.Z. WOMAN BACK WITH U.N. AFTER ROUND-WORLD JOB
(11 a.m.) LAKE SUCCESS, April 6. When Miss Audrey Jenkins, formerly of Wellington, resumed her duties with the United Nations secretariat this week she was starting work again on a job which has carried her one and a half times round the world. After working with the American Legation in Wellington four years ago, Miss Jenkins' transferred to UNRRA and was assigned to Shanghai. After 13 months she moved to Lake Success and then was assigned to emergency relief work at Beirut, Syria. Her contract was renewed after she returned to Wellington recently. Miss Jenkins reported for duty after an air trip across the Pacific.
